Zusammenfassung
Ein 13 Jahre alter Kater wird mit Diabetes mellitus und chronischer Niereninsuffizienz
diagnostiziert. Neben einer schulmedizinischen Behandlung wird klassische Homöopathie
eingesetzt, die ausschlaggebenden Symptome liegen im Gemütsbereich. Die Laborwerte
spiegeln oftmals das tatsächliche Allgemeinbefinden nicht wider. Nach mehrmaliger
erfolgreicher homöopathischer Arzneimittelverordnung wird die schulmedizinische Behandlung
abgesetzt. Allgemeinbefinden, Gemüt und Laborwerte bleiben unter homöopathischer Behandlung
gut.
Summary
13-year old tomcat Edgar was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and chronic renal failure.
Classical homeopathy was applied in addition to orthodox medicine with the key symptoms
due to mind symptoms. However, lab results did not reflect the actual health condition
of the cat. After several successful homeopathic remedies, the orthodox medical treatment
was discontinued. Currently, Edgar exhibits a generally improved status of health
and mind, as well as good laboratory results under homoeopathic treatment.
